About Coach Ito
Alysa was a four-year varsity scholar athlete at Troy High School. She was the starting point guard and team captain. Some of her high school achievements include a Southern California CIF and State Championship, Four straight undefeated Freeway League Championships, All-Tournament Honors, First Team All-Freeway League Honors, and All-CIF Honors.
She was on scholarship at Sonoma State University where she was the starting point guard and team captain. She led her team in assists and steals. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2013.
Alysa earned a master's in business administration in Finance and Marketing from Hawai'i Pacific University in 2016. There, she was a Graduate Assistant coach from 2013-2016. She helped the Sharks to a NCAA Division II Tournament appearance in 2015, the 2015 PacWest Conference Championship, and the 2015 PacWest Tournament Championship.
Alysa was an assistant varsity girls' basketball coach at Mater Dei High School alongside her former Troy basketball coaches, Kevin Kiernan and Pete Bonny where they won back-to-back CIF Open Division titles in 2020 and 2021.
